01Who we are
Sanika Elevation Agency ("SEA," "we," "us," "our") is a small marketing studio based in New Jersey, United States. We build landing pages and marketing assets for local service businesses. This policy covers seaagency.co, sanikaelevationagency.com, the demo subpages we host, and any forms you fill out on those sites.
If a third party tool we use (like an email service or calendar app) has its own privacy policy, theirs governs the data they hold. We name the ones that matter below.
02What we collect
Information you give us directly
When you fill out a form, book a call, or email us, you'll usually share some combination of:
- Name
- Business name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Website URL or social handles
- Service area, business category, and rough team size
- Whatever else you choose to put in the message box
Information we collect automatically
When you load a page on our site, your browser sends standard request data that any web server would receive:
- IP address (used to estimate region and block abuse)
- Browser type, OS, and device type
- The page you visited, the page that referred you, and how long you stayed
- UTM parameters and ad click identifiers if you arrived from a campaign
Information we don't collect
We do not ask for or store payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, government IDs, or financial account numbers on our site. Payments (when applicable) are processed by a third party processor, we only see the confirmation, not the card.
03How we use it
We use the information above for a short list of obvious reasons:
- To deliver the work. If you claim a free page or buy a service, we use your contact info and business details to build and send what you asked for.
- To follow up. We may email or text you about your project, your inquiry, or the offer you signed up for. You can opt out at any time.
- To improve the site. Aggregated analytics help us understand which pages convert and which don't.
- To send occasional updates. If you opted in, we may send case studies, sample pages, or new offers. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To comply with the law. If we get a valid legal request, we'll respond to it.
We do not sell your personal information. Not now, not later. If that ever changes, this policy will change first and we'll tell you.
04Who we share it with
We share data with a small set of service providers we use to actually run the business. Each one only sees what they need to do their job:
- Hosting & CDN, Vercel (page hosting, request logs).
- Email & CRM, the email and contact tools we use to reply to you and track leads.
- Calendar & scheduling, the booking tool we use for discovery calls.
- Analytics, a privacy conscious analytics tool to measure page performance.
- Payment processor, if you make a purchase, a PCI compliant processor handles the transaction.
We may also share information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect rights and safety. If the business is ever sold or merged, your data may transfer with it, under terms at least as protective as this policy.
05Cookies & analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Most are essential (they make the site work). A few are analytical (they help us see anonymized traffic patterns). We don't use third party advertising cookies on this site at this time.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the site (like remembering form progress) may stop working.
06How long we keep it
- Inquiry data (forms, emails), kept for as long as needed to deliver the service, plus a reasonable period after for records and follow up. Typically up to 3 years from last contact.
- Client project files, kept for the life of the relationship plus 2 years.
- Server logs & analytics, automatically rolled off within 12 months.
- Marketing list, kept until you unsubscribe.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner. See "Your rights" below.
07Security
We use industry standard security practices: HTTPS across the site, access controls on the tools we use, encrypted at rest storage with our providers, and the principle of least privilege internally. No system on the internet is 100% secure, and we won't pretend otherwise, but we take this seriously and we'd rather have an honest conversation if something ever goes wrong.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding the data we hold about you:
- Access, ask what we have on file.
- Correction, ask us to fix anything that's wrong.
- Deletion, ask us to erase your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Portability, ask for a copy in a standard format.
- Opt out of marketing, unsubscribe from any email we send, or just reply STOP to a text.
- Do Not Sell or Share (California residents), we don't sell or share for cross context advertising, but you can confirm that with us in writing.
To exercise any of these rights, email dev@seaagency.co with the request. We aim to respond within 30 days. We won't discriminate against you for using these rights.
For visitors in the EU / UK / EEA
If GDPR applies to you, our legal bases for processing your data are: your consent (when you submit a form or subscribe), performance of a contract (when we're delivering paid or free work), and legitimate interest (running the business, responding to inquiries, basic analytics). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
09Children
This site is for businesses. It is not directed to anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we'll delete it.
10Third party links
Our site links to other places, sample landing pages we've built, social profiles, scheduling tools, payment processors. Once you click out, you're on their turf and their privacy policy applies. We can't speak for them and we encourage you to read theirs before sharing anything sensitive.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the law changes, when we add new tools, or when we just figure out a clearer way to explain something. The "Last updated" date at the top will always tell you when. If we ever make a material change (like a new use of your data), we'll tell you directly, by email if we have your address, or with a clear notice on the site.
